Postgraduate Student mobility
There is a mobility of a significant number of postgraduate students,
mainly from Russia to EU, but to include a smaller amount
of EU to Russian mobility. 33 Russian postgraduates and 4
EU postgraduates will benefit from six month exchange study
periods abroad.
There is a student selection and preparation for period abroad. Before
the period of study abroad, intensive e-mail planning, using
teams of postgraduate students, working in pairs, one from
EU and one from Russia, will allow development of concrete
proposals for the time abroad. This development of proposals
will be competitive in that more pairs will develop proposals
than will finally benefit from study periods abroad.

3 Student exchange offices, one at each Russian partner
institution will be established to promote the partnership
and other exchange opportunities in all participating Russian
universities. This student exchange office also promotes
postgraduate studies and will continue to function after
the end of the project. Study tour is to EU for Russian international
officers.

Student exchange
The project will enable mobility of a significant number
of postgraduate students, mainly from Russia to EU, but
to include a smaller amount of EU to Russia mobility. More
limited attention will be given to the mobility of undergraduate
students in their last years of study. The aim here will
not be to achieve large numbers of mobilities, but to ensure
that crucial undergraduate student exchange issues are understood.
Eight Russian and three European Union students will benefit
from 5 months of exchange. The mobility will be an integral
part of all students studies and its composition of activities
will refer closely to the academic activities of the student
in the home country. Undergraduate student exchange, preparation
for exchange including academic recognition, credit transfer
and good exchange practice issues, and encouragement of
postgraduate studies.

Creation of fourteen bilateral agreements between the Russian
project partners and EU higher educational institutions,
both project partners and non-project partners, creation
of ECTS guide and a sound understanding of credit systems
and ECTS credit systems, creation of a student handbook,
dissemination of the knowledge concerning ECTS, creating
agreements, seeking partners abroad and writing student
handbooks at a seminar in Russia for other Russian higher
educational institutions

Staff teaching concerning use of modern
teaching methods
Six Russian staff were trained concerning use of more modern
teaching methods, and academic recognition issues, Development
of joint curricula between Russian and European Union partners,
Two examples of EU/Russian joint curricula will be completed
and a further two identified and progress. Three examples
of joint curricula between Russian institutions only at
regional levels will be identified and progressed.

Organisation of a comprehensive dissemination
workshop disseminating all outcomes and learning from the
project to six higher educational institutions
Dissemination of all previous outcomes to six Higher Educational
Institutions in Russia. 9 other Russian universities and
20 external Russian university staff members affected.
