About Tempus Tacis Mobility Joint European
Project 10723-99
The project will establish a network of institutions
to enable the implementation of student mobility and to
create long-term co-operation between partners involved
in student exchange. Postgraduate student exchange, undergraduate
student exchange and joint curriculum development are all
themes of this project.
Good practice in undergraduate student
exchange is taught, although actual undergraduate student
exchange numbers are low within the project. This partnership
focuses on postgraduate exchange, curriculum development
and to a lesser extent on undergraduate exchange. Partners
will provide students in the areas of Business Administration
and Management, and Economics and within Economics: Finance,
and Commercial and Industrial Management.
There are 3 Russian partners and 3 European
Union partners. The Russian partners are Khabarovsk, Irkutsk
and Ufa. The European partners are Braga (Portugal), Umeo
(Sweden), Luton (Great Britain).
It will foster sustainable co-operation concerning academic recognition,
credit transfer and the development of joint curricula.,
Attention will be given to forming an
office to encourage student exchange and postgraduate study
in each of the three participating Russian universities
